Supplies Greetings everyone and Welcome to Friends and Company! We are fully loaded rubber stamp stores located in West Seattle, just 15 minutes southwest, and in Issaquah, just 20 minutes due east; of downtown Seattle, Washington. Our hope is that we can be and will remain your number one stop shop. We carry thousands of rubber stamps and tons of accessories for all your rubber stamping needs. We have a host of classes for all ages as well as special events such as birthday parties, specialized rubber stamping classes, group meetings, and so much more. Friends and Company's exclusive line of original art is also available in unmounted rubber! Please check our site often. We are continually growing and hope to hear from you soon. Our newsletter includes all the great "stuff" going on at the shop along with tons of classes to choose from. We are sure there is something for everyone. Give us a call anytime. 2009 Passport Program The Passport Program that we introduced in January 2008 has surpassed our expectations and we definitely know that it is creating excitement and energy within this already fabulous environment. We are, therefore, offering the Passport Program again in 2009. It will continue to be offered all year long so do let us know if you would like one. Passports purchased in January 2009 are $12.00 each and $15.00 each for the balance of the year. Please note that owning a passport is now the only means for receiving a discount following a class. This is a major change in our classroom policies but we are sure you will understand the need for this change. As a passport member, here are some of the highlights...
"ENVY"lope Contest Congratulations were extended to Linda Riegelsberger who won our 2008 “Envy”lope contest. All the entries were fabulous and are still posted at the shop so do stop in to take a look. It really is worth the trip. Linda was awarded a $100.00 gift certificate to the shop. Way to go Linda!! The Paper Connection OK, stop the presses. We are looking for new members to this terrific club and you may be just the right candidate. Read on for more information. Please take time to join and register today. It’s loads of fun and its value is great also! Looking for some fun? Looking for some surprises? Looking for something different? “The Paper Connection” may be exactly what you are looking for! The Paper Connection is an innovative, fun, and perhaps unique approach to owning paper and is made up of club members who just love paper, love getting packages in the mail, or simply do not have access to some of the rich, vibrant, and high quality paper now available on the market. The club consists of membership with monthly dues of $19.95. Each month, members receive a mystery package delivered directly to the address of their choice full of fun surprises and “stuff” which is all about paper. Membership also includes bonus items that will enhance your paper collection each month. With each six month membership, members receive a 10% discount at Friends and Company on all stocked 12” x 12” or 8-1/2” x 11” paper products during the time of membership. Rent-A-Rack Another new feature for 2009 is our “Rent A Rack” program at our West Seattle store. This program is the brain child of one of our valued employees and we think it is brilliant!! Each month a featured artist will be able to showcase and sell their work for the entire month in our baker’s rack. A small percentage will be returned to the shop making it a win win for everyone including you who will be able to take advantage of some really great “stuff”. Our artist for May is Lauren Stevens who will showcase several of her fabulous altered books. We are sure that these are hard for her to sell but she wants to share her talents with others so stop in and take a look. Our featured artist for June is Kelly Anable who, along with Jessi Cornwell, will feature their great collection of bead work. Stop in and help support our local artists. You’ll be glad you did.` We hope the “Rent A Rack” program will be fun and rewarding at the same time. Do check it out!! Newsletter Delivery Our newsletter has proven to be a valuable resource so we want everyone to continue receiving it. Here’s how:
As usual, our first order of priority for the new year is to update our mailing list. We love to introduce new folks to rubber stamping, however, the database is rather large so updating helps us to minimize associated costs. This also includes e-mail as we are required to “lump” e-mails which in turn takes some time before completing the list. In any case, each January we ask you to verify your address and/or e-mail. so that the database can be updated. If we do not hear from you, you will be archived on the physical mailing list but not on the e-mail list unless you tell us otherwise, so please take a minute to let us hear from you. If you are unable to make it to the shop, simply give us a call. We want to make sure that all our valued customers get all the information they need to have a fun and fulfilling year so don’t delay. We thank you in advance for helping us streamline our database. Exchange Policy. We will very gladly exchange unused items within 30 days of sale but a sales receipt must accompany your request. No returns or credits are allowed. We are sure that you understand the necessity for these policies and will support them.
